Anna and Adam's sweet summer wedding, featured in the 2016 Utah Valley Bride Magazine, was a timeless affair with a fun and colorful twist.

The bride wore an Anne Barge dress with the perfect peter pan collar, paired with the most gorgeous red Valentino heels, while the groom wore a classic black tux and a bow tie.

Anna's inspiration came from her paper suite that was a combination of her favorite summer colors: vibrant red and yellow, with hints of blush pink and aqua blue. The brilliantly colored floral motif on the invitations set the tone for the rest of the decor.

The bride did a fabulous job combining vintage and picnic elements with the grandeur of the Utah State Capitol building. The feeling was what we would imagine to be that of attending a wedding celebration in a royal garden at a stately manor located in the English countryside.

Vintage furniture with brightly colored pillows brought softness to the Capitol's patio and acted as a retreat for guests where they could sit and enjoy a bit of fresh lemonade.  The wooden lemonade stand, hand-made by the bride's uncle, was the focal point of cocktail hour.  The various flavors of ice-cold lemonade were a huge hit on the hot summer day and brought wonderful color to the space.

To keep with the theme, names attached to lemons were used as escort cards.

The naked cake was stately in size, yet elegant and simple, with petite flowers descending down one side.

The end of the event brought yet another sweet detail: red and pink streamers that guests used to wave to the bride and groom as they drove away in a vintage car.  It was something straight out of Pride and Prejudice and captured perfectly by Jessica Janae Photography!
