Team MLE was tasked with finding a new event location that would offer a fresh scene for the event industry. Enter Sunday’s Best - the hottest new brunch spot in SLC. We took the existing bold colors and patterns in the space and incorporated them into the paper suite, tabletop textiles, and floral centerpieces of the overall design. We hope this inspires you to host a pre- or post-wedding celebration that boldly steps outside of the box.

It’s always such a pleasure to design for our friends at Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine and this editorial at Hobble Creek Estate was no exception. We loved creating this autumn wedding inspiration full of bold colors to complement the colors in the foliage as the seasons begin to change from summer to winter. The decor highlighted vibrant colors that combined late summer and early fall hues. We opted for a palette infused with soft yellow, blue, coral, and lavender.

When using geometric shapes, bold tones, and personalized details, we truly believe the sky is the limit and will enable you to create an unforgettable experience. For this editorial, we went big with colors, shapes, and patterns to breathe life into this urban-chic setting. Some of the design elements include the striking chartreuse pantsuit and hat, a colorful and geometric paper suite, citrus-inspired signature cocktails, and an asymmetrical cake in an ombré of peachy tones. The brand new issue of Utah Valley Bride Magazine hit newsstands in Utah this week and we are completely smitten (as usual). We absolutely adore this publication and the wonderful women behind it and are honored to have an editorial feature within these gorgeous glossy pages! This modern and micro rehearsal dinner is the perfect way to celebrate with those who matter most. The decor features one long table adorned with a subtle yet shimmery gold linen with complementary linens on the cocktail tables. The place settings highlight gold metal geometric placemats, glass chargers with a bold black rim, glossy black china, gold and black flatware, gold linen napkins, and custom menus tied with black cord and fresh blooms.

The New Year is here and 2021 wedding planning is in full swing! This week we’re sharing 2021 wedding trends with Bridal Guide Magazine, including what to expect when it comes to catering from our very own Michelle. “Grazing stations and buffets are suspended for now. All catering services have been plated. Guest capacity at tables hasn’t exceeded 10 individuals per table, and tables have been placed a minimum distance of six feet apart. Despite all these changes, we’ve successfully executed celebrations that ran smoothly and were both safe and enjoyable!”

Bridal Guide's September/October 2020 issue is on newsstands now and we are beyond thrilled to have contributed to their "In Season" feature, providing inspiration and planning tips for any time of year. MLE couple Dasha and Neil’s winter wonderland wedding was the perfect fit for a cozy gathering during this snowy season. It may not be the most popular nuptial season, but winter can be the most magical — both indoors and out. In this article, our lead designer, Michelle, shares the upsides to a winter wedding, along with some things to keep in mind, including setting a cozy atmosphere, what to include on your menu, florals to consider, and more.

When Utah Bride & Groom magazine asked us to create something special for their 2020 publication we went straight to work, doing what we do best, to create a same-sex celebration in the urban setting of Lake Effect, located in the heart of Salt Lake City. The design incorporated both masculine and feminine details, creating a flawless city-chic atmosphere. We are absolutely honored to have created this design exclusively for Utah Bride & Groom. Katie and Paul’s Blue Sky Ranch wedding was like a scene pulled out of a snowglobe. This couple said “I do” in an outdoor ceremony under a clear tent, giving this bride and groom a backdrop full of snow-covered mountains, while keeping their guests warm and cozy. Following the ceremony, everyone made their way into the barn for drinks, dinner, and dancing. The decor was stunning featuring an unexpected color palette, two table designs, and breathtaking florals. Each table was embellished with an abundance of candles, garden-style centerpieces filled with greenery, sand-colored roses and other soft blooms in shades of purple, blush and more, mirrored acrylic table numbers, and a sprig of fresh greenery to finish each place setting.
