We are so excited to introduce MLE's 2018 intern team! Each year our interns play an integral role in helping us execute each event with precision and we are beyond excited for this year's team of extremely talented individuals. 

Jessica and Jamie's Jewish ranch wedding was elegant and romantic, yet simple and traditional. The couple said "I do" under a chuppah embellished with gorgeous blush and ivory blooms, greens, and a navy and white striped canopy. We absolutely loved the ambiance created by the rustic venue combined with the classic and polished decor. This wedding is sure to be a favorite for a long time to come. 

The results are in and we are absolutely thrilled to share that Michelle Leo Events has been awarded “Wedding Company of the Year” in the Americas by Luxury Travel Guide! We are incredibly flattered (to say the least) to have emerged as the winner of this prestigious title. A special thank you to all of our supporting vendors who help us achieve event greatness year after year, and to our wonderful clients who provide us with the opportunity to do what we love! We wouldn’t be the team we are today without your love and support!

Rachael and Adam's Rose Garden wedding was simple, elegant, and romantic. The ceremony took place in the middle of the garden and the couple said "I Do" under a gorgeous and lush rose arbor. Guests danced the night away in the amphitheater, followed by a rose petal send-off to mark the end of a beautiful day and the start of this couple's new life together. 

Adva and Bart’s San Antonio summer wedding was nothing less than a dream. This Monet-inspired celebration was filled with an incredible color palette and an abundance of soft and romantic decor. At midnight, Adva and Bart were sent off with a shower of bubbles and drove away in a Rolls Royce with a stop at The Alamo for pictures at midnight. 

When Salt Lake/Park City Bride & Groom Magazine asked us to design a fresh take on the old "something blue" aspect of a wedding, our team was full of ideas! Envisioning white pumice buildings overlooking the cobalt blue waters of the Aegean Sea and inspired by the city’s exquisite architecture and bold, romantic colors, we designed this Mediterranean tablescape to transport guests to Santorini, Greece. The incredible details of this design give us all the feels and we think you'll feel just the same!

Gabrielle and Ethan's La Caille wedding was the epitome of summer featuring vibrant blooms, lush greens, and a majestic mountain backdrop as they said "I Do." Guests danced the night away in the pavillion and sent the couple off with a sparkler exit, the perfect way to end their big day. 

Although the bride, all done up in her gorgeous dress, is usually what people focus on when thinking of a couple's wedding day, we can't forget her equally important counterpart, the groom! After all, you can't have a wedding without a bride and a groom. On one of the most important days of his life, not only does the groom need to be present, he also has to do his part in making sure things go smoothly. While we all know the wedding planning and preparations fall into the hands of the planner, with decisions being made by the bride and her maids, the groom still has his fair share of responsibilities that he must fulfill.To keep things simple and easy to follow, we've created a "Groom's To Do List" to ensure you're the best groom on the block. 

Tomorrow, our very own founder and lead planner and designer, Michelle Cousins, will be speaking at Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine's "Rooted in the Rockies!" This incredible conference is dedicated to help grow, inspire and set style trends for creatives in the Rocky Mountains and beyond. As an industry expert, we are absolutely flattered and delighted to be sharing our knowledge with so many talented wedding professionals!     

Chelsea and Zachary's Red Butte Garden wedding was understated, intimate, and romantic. Held right on the verge of summer, they said "I Do" surrounded by lush greenery bursting with just about every flower you can think of. We just loved the natural and whimsical ambiance of this venue, which made for the perfect location to celebrate this couple's big day.   

If you know the Michelle Leo Events team, then you know how much we love to support other local businesses, so when Cummings Studio Chocolates sent us a box of their delicious treats, trying them was a no-brainer! While we were at it, we figured we would also tell you about the flavors and which were our favorites, and how to best use them for events. 

We know that preparing for your big day is a BIG DEAL and in our opinion, the key to success is hiring the right team of vendors. We also know that finding those vendors can be tricky and sometimes misleading. As a bride or groom, you always want to know what you're getting before you sign a contract, so today, we're sharing with you our top three tips to ensure you get what you want and need when hiring wedding vendors for your big day. 1. Do your research, 2. Event Planner, Designers, and Venue Coordinators: Know the differences, and 3. Ask for references.  

Jessica and Taylor's wedding, held at Publik Coffee in Downtown Salt Lake City, was the perfect expression of ethereal beauty. With a color palette of soft ivory, blush, blue, and rose-gold and the venue's amazing exposed brick, we quickly fell in love with everything about this event. 

Cameron and Mike's St. Regis Deer Valley wedding was absolutely incredible. The couple’s love of skiing and hiking together made getting married at the base of a ski run a no-brainer. “Love is an adventure” quickly became an underlying theme. The decor was garden-inspired - a bit wild and ethereal; and it all turned out to be quite magical. Last year, the Michelle Leo Events team had the pleasure of designing and executing the White Party for Utah Bride & Groom Magazine where 275 vendors gathered to celebrate Utah's amazing industry professionals. The Eccles Performing Arts Center, Downtown SLC's new showstopper, is such an open and contemporary space that we wanted the event design to have the same contemporary feel with a splash of elegance, keeping in line with Utah's wedding industry.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending the launch party for Utah Valley Bride magazine, which means we can officially share this awe-inspiring Italian editorial with you! Featuring a soft, yet rich and natural color palette, a goat with a floral necklace, plenty of herbs, and greens galore, we are absolutely in love with this little piece of Italy we created right here in Utah.
