Catie & Pat's Fall Wedding at The Grand America
Catie and Pat's fall wedding at The Grand America was absolutely stunning. The couple said "I do" on the most perfect fall day, followed by a reception filled with delicious food, heartfelt toasts, laughter, and dancing.
The decor consisted of gorgeous blue textured linens and romantic blush velvet linens draped on the round and banquet tables respectively. Each place setting featured rose gold flatware, a blue water goblet, copper charger, blush linen napkin, and a custom menu finished off with a sprig of fresh eucalyptus. The centerpieces were a mix of soft blooms in shades of ivory and blush, and tall, overflowing greens, while the head table displayed a fresh green and floral garland.
MLE planner Nicole shares "Catie and Pat were such a joy to work with! They are some of the kindest and genuine people I have ever met and I want to be friends with them forever. When they enter a room together, their love is instantly recognizable. They love hiking and the mountains which is what inspired the motif we incorporated on the invitations and menu. In fact, Pat proposed while on a hike in Northern California. We wanted to use soft colors and delicate flowers to compliment their sweet love and the bold blues to show the strength they have as a couple.
During the planning process, I asked Catie what she liked about Pat and she said "I love everything about him. He has THE BEST hair. He is brilliant. He is just perfect." That stuck with me through all of the planning and even almost a year later. On the day of their wedding, every time Pat looked at Catie you could tell it was the happiest day of his life. I mean look at how amazing Catie looked in her custom gown, her mother's necklace, and those incredible dimples! Their wedding day hashtag was #HappilyEverHensleigh and goodness gracious was it was the happiest!"
