A Persian Wedding At Sundance Featuring Navy & Gold Accents

This week we're gearing up for two gorgeous Labor Day weekend weddings, so today we're sharing one of our favorite Labor Day weekend weddings from a few years ago.

Miquela and Kia’s Persian-infused wedding at Sundance was the perfect blend of two cultures. Their ceremony design included the traditional Sofreh display in tones of blues and golds. And the ceremony program itself included both farsi as well as traditional “western” wedding elements via the bride's catholic background. We completely enjoyed helping the bride and groom merge their individual traditions and religions into a unique ceremony that was perfect for them. Both the bride and groom were well-represented as individuals and a couple which made it all the more special.

The couple and their guests enjoyed a celebratory cocktail hour after their ceremony which took place on the Redford Lawn before moving over to the Rehearsal Hall where they enjoyed a seated dinner, open bar, and dancing throughout the night.

Stunning mountain views combined with a beautiful navy and gold color palette to breathe a sense of "mountain elegance" into the space. The design included nods of agate elements and lush greenery to compliment the natural ambiance of the resort setting. Table settings included agate and gold-fleck paper products which rested atop gold chargers. Other elements included satin navy blue napkins, candles, and a gold-dipped leaf delicately placed next to the menu which created an elegant, natural setting. The cocktail tables included satin navy linens and the words like "love" and "honor" written in Farsi and framed in gold.

Each grey-washed cottage table featured floral and greenery in the form of garland centerpieces while a mix of round tables boasted large, gold candelabras for added height and drama. Bistro lights were strung over the outdoor deck to create a cozy seating area and cigar bar while elegant chandeliers and drapery decorated the ceiling inside the Rehearsal Hall.

We're thrilled to share that this gorgeous mountain wedding was featured in the Summer/Fall 2016 issue of  Salt Lake/Park City Bride and Groom Magazine!
