When Utah Bride & Groom magazine asked us to create something special for their 2020 publication we went straight to work, doing what we do best, to create a same-sex celebration in the urban setting of Lake Effect, located in the heart of Salt Lake City.

The ceremony set up included a simple garland full of bleached ferns and dried leaves that highlighted the incredible wine cellar.

This area was then converted into the dining space, which featured a gorgeous wood table adorned with metal chairs, an elegant sand-colored silk runner, gray taper candles, a mix of gold votive candles, and a floral centerpiece filled with baby roses, ruffled parrot tulips, furry bunny tails, and more. The place settings spotlighted copper geometric chargers, rose gold flatware, gray ceramic china, and slate-colored silk napkins.

The design incorporated both masculine and feminine details, creating a flawless city-chic atmosphere.

Other design elements include a geometric wedding cake, signature cocktails, and a paper suite with perfectly imperfect hand-torn edges.

We are absolutely honored to have created this design exclusively for Utah Bride & Groom. We still get butterflies every time we see our work on their gorgeous glossy pages. See all the details below, including a sneak peek of the full feature, and be sure to pick up a copy for yourself, on newsstands now!
