Incorporate color into your food and beverage, go for a simple and understated table design, take advantage of classic decor, and include activities. As an event planning company, we are definitely limited in what we can do. After all, we are in the business of events and gatherings! That said, while we are still moving forward with business as usual, we are encouraging certain precautionary steps for the sake of our team, clients, and their guests.

Fall is easily team MLE’s favorite season. The crisp air, changing leaves, and incredible textures have us wishing this time of year would last just a little bit longer. So today, we’re reveling in the beauty of the season and sharing a few of our team member’s favorite fall design details!

Tomorrow, our very own founder and lead planner and designer, Michelle Cousins, will be speaking at Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine's "Rooted in the Rockies!" This incredible conference is dedicated to help grow, inspire and set style trends for creatives in the Rocky Mountains and beyond. As an industry expert, we are absolutely flattered and delighted to be sharing our knowledge with so many talented wedding professionals!     

Last year, the Michelle Leo Events team had the pleasure of designing and executing the White Party for Utah Bride & Groom Magazine where 275 vendors gathered to celebrate Utah's amazing industry professionals. The Eccles Performing Arts Center, Downtown SLC's new showstopper, is such an open and contemporary space that we wanted the event design to have the same contemporary feel with a splash of elegance, keeping in line with Utah's wedding industry.

With 2017 coming to a close and 2018 just around the corner, we can't help but think about a beautiful table design to ring in the new year! We've created the perfect table for your New Year's Eve celebration that is full of glitz and glamour, because what's NYE without a little (or a lot) or sparkle?! Cheers to a wonderful year and may this next year be the best yet! 

We can hardly believe Thanksgiving is next week! Will you be traveling or hosting? While we enjoy a good turkey dinner and a slice of pie (or two or three), we have to admit that, besides expressing gratitude and spending time with friends and family, our absolute favorite part of the holiday is the table decor. This year, in an attempt to get away from the traditional brown, red, and orange color scheme, we've created two completely different, but equally beautiful, table designs with fun and fresh color palettes.  

We are so excited to introduce MLE's 2017 intern team! Each year our interns help us to flawlessly execute each event and we are so excited for this year's team of talented individuals. To kick-off wedding season and get better acquainted with our new team members, we invited everyone to the Grand America Hotel for a light brunch to hear from Michelle and the team, ask questions, and take a "behind-the-scenes" tour of how things work at the Grand America. We can't wait to see these interns in action and what this year has in store for team MLE. 

Last week Michelle Leo Events was recognized as 2017's BEST EVENT PLANNER! We are absolutely honored to have been named "best of state" for seven consecutive yearsand look forward to another year of creating extraordinary events in our beautiful state of Utah and beyond. 

Happy Valentine's Day from the MLE team! We'll take any excuse to celebrate love which makes today one of our favorite days of the year. We love looking back on this Valentine's inspired vendor party we designed a few years ago at La Caille. It's still one of our very favorites. 

It's official! Michelle Leo Events has been named the Best of State Event Planner for the sixth straight year. 

For the past five years, I have served as the be all and end all of Michelle Leo Events. I birthed this business from the quietest place in my hopeful soul with reservations about how to do it, with fears regarding which paths to take and with visions and goals to create something beautiful and meaningful to all those I served.

Last week was the annual Utah Bride and Groom White Party. Every year Utah Bride and Groom Magazine hosts this party as a gift to the wedding industry allowing wedding vendors to have an evening planned just for them. This year I had the pleasure of being asked to design the event, and they gave me complete freedom to let my creativity run wild.
